Katrina: Triples Traffic To CNN.com

“CNN.com’s video coverage through 5p EDT exceeded 8 million videos played, 2.5 times the previous full day peak (achieved during the 7/7 London bombings),” the network told TVNewser this evening. “Traffic to CNN.com’s web site peaked today at 272,000 page views per minute, and estimated traffic for the day of 145 million page views (in excess of 3 times normal daily traffic).”
