Keith Olbermann and Al Gore: The Baseball Card

Like so many others, your TVNewser editor was an avid baseball card collector as a kid. If you collected baseball cards, you collected Topps.

For the 2011 edition of its “Allen & Ginter” set, Topps is adding some special autographed cards with a familiar face or two:

Yes, Al Gore and Keith Olbermann will be signing cards, which should be released in July, shortly after Olbermann’s “Countdown” makes its debut on Gore’s Current TV.

“The @ToppsCards record for signatures in one hour is 750 by Whitey Ford. I only had 110 to do! ” Olbermann tweeted, linking to the picture below.
