MSNBC’s Countdown has launched a stop-smoking campaign called “I Quit, with Keith Olbermann.” “Keith quit smoking. So can you,” the Countdown home page says. (Yes, that’s a close-up picture of Olbermann’s mouth, following the removal of a benign tumor.) MSNBC is soliciting stop-smoking stories and suggestions on how to make quitting easier. ![]()
“Each night on the program (8-9 p.m. ET), Olbermann will share a new tip to help viewers quit the smoking habit,” the press release says. ![]()
