Kermit the Frog Makes the Rounds From DC
Muppets ringleader Kermit the Frog is in Washington, DC today to light the national Christmas tree with the Obama family. While he was there, Kermit made time for interviews with CBS’s Bob Schieffer and CNN’s T.J. Holmes to dish on everything from Miss Piggy, to politics, to his days as a reporter on Sesame Street.
On CBS, Kermit told Schieffer that he watches “Face the Nation” every week:
And on CNN, after telling Holmes that it was surprisingly easy “for a frog to get security clearance,” Kermit called Wolf Blitzer — who was apparently with him in the DC studio — into the interview:
Kermit also stopped by Blitzer’s “The Situation Room” this afternoon.
