Kornheiser Radio Show Now For Download At ESPN Radio

On the one year anniversary of The Tony Kornheiser Show on ESPN Radio 980 (WTEM) in Washington, DC, the former Washington Post columnist announced that the best of would be available for download on ESPN Radio.

Tony Kornheiser was on ESPN Radio for six years between 1998-2004 before he was dismissed after a series of disagreements with management.

Fans of the show, affectionately known as “Littles,” got quite the scare at the end of last Friday’s show when “Famous Last Words” by Billy Joel played to close out the show, which normally signals the end of his radio run.

But it was business as usual on Tuesday’s show, who described the philosophy of the show to new listeners as, “funny, sarcastic and subversive.”

That humor was displayed last week when Kornheiser explained to his audience that he’s using his Sports Emmy Award for best Daily Outstanding Studio Talk Show (for Pardon The Interruption) as a toilet paper holder in his family bathroom.

(Insert bathroom humor joke here.)
