Lapel Pin Angst on Live with Dan Abrams

Dan Abrams pinned one of his guests last night. Rep. Jack Kingston was on to discuss his questioning of Sen. Barack Obama‘s patriotism. Last Friday on Real Time with Bill Maher, Kingston questioned why Obama refuses to wear an American flag lapel pin. During the interview, Abrams noticed the congressman was not wearing a flag pin either.

Abrams: “You’re not wearing a lapel pin, are you?”

Kingston: “I will wear one and I have worn one, but I’m not making a statement about it.”

Abrams: “But do you see my point? I mean, I had no idea that you were going to show up without a lapel pin. But it seems kind of absurd that you’re saying Barack Obama’s patriotism should be questioned because he’s not wearing a lapel pin, and then you come on this show not wearing one!”
