‘Larry King Live’ Cancels Tila Tequila Interview
Reality television star Tila Tequila was scheduled to appear on “Larry King Live” this evening, but that interview has now been scrapped.
CNN confirms that Tequila was booked and then was canceled, but would not comment on the reason behind it. In her place, King will have a primetime exclusive with the third White House party crasher, Carlos Allen.
Tequila was to discuss her late fiancée Casey Johnson, who passed away last week. E!’s Marc Malkin reports, “King received phone calls from Casey’s friends and family members urging him to pull the plug on Tila.”
The MTV host took a swipe at King’s audience in an email to E! online: “I’m not pushing for them to change their minds cuz honestly, my fanbase demographic and to the people that matter to my career dont watch Larry King.”
