Six months ago, two tipsters said CBS correspondent Lee Cowan was jumping to NBC News as a Chicago-based correspondent.
His move was never officially announced, but Cowan made his NBC debut on Tuesday with a Nightly News piece about Barack Obama. (Brian Williams introduced him as “our newest correspondent.”)
So where has Cowan been this year? When he left CBS, he “had to sit out six months,” a tipster says…
