Lee Cowan Responds To Couric Criticism

TVNewser Exclusive: “I like and respect Katie [Couric]. She was nothing but gracious to me at CBS and understanding when I left to go to NBC,” NBC News correspondent Lee Cowan tells TVNewser, in response to Couric’s “find another line of work” advice for him this week.

“She’s always struck me as honest,” Cowan continues, “both on and off the air. I’m sure once she looks at my whole exchange about covering a campaign of this sort, she’ll see that’s all I was trying to be as well.”
