Martin Savidge Back on CNN Covering Attempted Terror Attack

MS_12.26.jpgFormer CNN anchor Martin Savidge has been reporting for the network today from Detroit on the Christmas Day botched terror attack. ICN says Savidge was spotted on CNN earlier today. He’s been doing hourly updates from Detroit Metro Airport.

Most recently, Savidge was the anchor of “Worldfocus.” From 2004-2008 Savidge was a correspondent for NBC News and before that, beginning in 1996, Savidge was an anchor/reporter for CNN.

>More, from a tipster: Savidge is working for CNN on a freelance basis, primarily as a weekend correspondent for breaking news. He’s been on-call for several weeks, but there had been no need to bring him in until now. He is still doing freelance work for Worldfocus.
