May #’s: MSNBC Up 51% In Prime Viewers

MSNBC’s ratings growth is primarily happening in primetime, the latest monthly data shows.

In May, the net averaged 78,000 viewers in daytime (9am to 6pm), up 10,000 / 15 percent from last May’s 68,000.

More significant gains were posted later in the day. From 8 to 11pm, MSNBC delivered 179,000 demo viewers, up 50,000 / 39 percent from last May’s 129,000. In total viewers, the net had 504,000 in primetime, up 51 percent from last May’s 334,000. Here’s the press release…
