McCain Adviser Joining MSNBC?
In a New York Times story today about what John McCain adviser Mike Murphy is not going to be doing (officially joining the McCain staff), it reveals what he will be doing — joining MSNBC.
The Times‘ Adam Nagourney reports, “Murphy, Mr. McCain’s strategist in the 2000 presidential race, is going to take a position as a commentator on MSNBC.”
The McCain camp declined to comment, but an MSNBC insider tells TVNewser a deal is likely be signed, “very soon.”
With Clinton supporters heading to FNC, McCain supporters heading to MSNBC, former Bush administration figures joining FNC and CNN, cablers continue staffing up for the general election.
