McCain Leads MTP to Ratings Win

NBC’s Meet the Press was the top-rated Sunday morning show last week, as Sen. John McCain returned to the program for the first time since January. Each program saw week-to-week declines in Total Viewers except FOX News Sunday.

ABC’s This Week finished second, topping CBS’ Face the Nation by its biggest Total Viewer advantage in six years.

In the A25-54 demo NBC was #1, followed by ABC, CBS and FOX.

The Tom Brokaw-moderated MTP averaged 4,749,000 Total Viewers, compared to 3,356,000 for ABC, 2,781,000 for CBS and 1,559,000 for FOX.
