Meetings & Anchoring for NBC’s Mullen

Mullen_3.27.jpgAnswering a TVNewser reader’s email: “NBC’s Mark Mullen anchoring on MSNBC at 2pm this week — permanent move? He brings a freshness to the net. Used to watch him anchoring on KRON in SF.”

No, anonymous emailer, it’s not permanent.

MSNBC tells us Mullen, based in NBC’s Beijing bureau, will wrap up a week of anchoring the 2pmET hour tomorrow. Mullen is in New York for meetings related to NBC News coverage of the upcoming Summer Olympics. Upon his return to China, he’ll continue reporting for all NBC News broadcasts in the lead-up to the games.
