As several tipsters emailed this morning, CBS News’ “Up to the Minute” anchor Meg Oliver told viewers today was her last day in the position.
“I’d also like to thank you for joining us over the years,” she said as she signed off at 4amET today. “This is my last morning with ‘Up to the Minute.’ I will definitely miss starting the day with you.”
TVNewser has confirmed Oliver is leaving the network. She took over the as anchor of “Up to the Minute” in March 2006. No replacement has been named, and several anchors will fill in until a permanent anchor is named.
