Megyn Kelly Lashes Out at Playboy For “Encouraging Hate, Intolerance, Misogyny”
Calling it a “vile attack,” Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly tore into Playboy and one of its writers over a story on Playboy.com (since pulled) which featured her and other women including Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Michelle Malkin, and Laura Ingraham.
Writer Guy Cimbalo generates what some are calling a ‘rape list,’ naming 10 women he deems ‘conservative’ and arguing that they generate a desire for hate sex among men. The bulk of this piece is devoted to crude attacks.
FNC reached out to Playboy for comment, but in Kelly’s opinion their statement did not go far enough.
It didn’t mean to encourage violence against women? That’s it? How about encouraging hate, intolerance, misogyny? Our viewers can make their own judgment about Playboy. But in my view, this is not the act of a publication that respects women in any way.
