Meredith’s First Thanksgiving Parade

Meredith Vieira made her Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade debut this morning. “It is an absolute thrill to be here. I am not even going to try to act cool, because I am so excited! This is my first time,” she told Matt Lauer and viewers.

Three hours later, she offered this recap: “The feel-good event of the year — I laughed, I cried — in fact, I’m so moved, I feel like going home and cooking an entire Thanksgiving dinner for my family!”
