CBS News insiders confirm Michelle Gielan, who was a reporter and fill-in news anchor at Fox-owned WFLD in Chicago, is being considered for the new anchor of CBS Morning News, the pre-pre Early Show show which airs at 4:30 am.
Robert Feder first reported the story in today’s Sun-Times. Gielan may also be the news reader for the Saturday Early Show.
