Midterms: Media En Masse In Ohio

Columbus, Ohio has planned for a midterm media onslaught. “Instead of network satellite trucks sprawled haphazardly throughout downtown as they were in 2004 – with cords sometimes stretching blocks to reporting nerve centers at a nearby hotel – the media parade will be lined tidily along several city blocks where a lane of traffic has been closed,” the AP says.

NBC’s First Read says “the Ohio GOP has had more than 40 media requests for its election night party, and the state Democratic Party has requests from 67 outlets for its own party…”
