“Mike and Juliet” Not Renewed

mj_1-8.jpg“The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet” has not been picked up for a third season, announced Twentieth Television president and COO Bob Cook today.

“Over the past two years, we set out to produce a high-quality show that provided viewers with an engaging source of entertainment,” he said. “We believe we accomplished this goal. Unfortunately, the current serious economic conditions made it challenging to continue producing the type of unique program that we wanted to deliver.”

Original episodes of the program will end in June.

Last January there were questions whether the program would be picked up for a second season, although it was ultimately renewed and expanded to more markets. Co-hosts Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy previously served as hosts of “Dayside” and “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Fox News.
