More Out At NBC’s DC Bureau
Since the news of NBC’s layoffs at the DC bureau last Friday, more big names exiting the bureau are emerging this week.
NBC News reporter and senior investigative producer Jim Popkin (pictured) is taking a buyout, after nearly 14 years with the network. Popkin helped create the NBC News Investigative Unit after 9/11, and the unit has won four national Emmys, among other awards.
FishbowlDC’s Patrick Gavin reports today that DC deputy bureau chief Brady Daniels and NBC News are “parting ways,” and earlier this week that Today show senior producer in DC Susan LaSalla is taking a buyout.
