Morning Show Ratings: Week Of October 3

NBC’s “Today” was the most-watched morning show for the week of October 3-7, topping second-place “Good Morning America” on ABC by more than half a million viewers in both ratings measurement categories.

But year-over-year growth for “GMA,” which is posting the smallest total-viewer gap with “Today” in four years, continued to be strong. Compared to the same week last year, “GMA” was up double-digits in both ratings measurements: +13% in total viewers and +11% in the A25-54 demographic. By comparison, “Today” was up +5% in total viewers and +2% in the demographic, while “The Early Show” on CBS was down by -1% and -2%, respectively.

  • A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2.39M / ABC: 1.82M / CBS: 1.04M
