In the final part of our interview with Contessa Brewer for mediabistro.com’s Media Beat, the MSNBC anchor discusses social media and how Twitter and Facebook play a role in her day-to-day work as an anchor. She says half the feedback she receives comes in the form of good discussion while the other half is divided between vitriol and nonsensical, off-topic comments.

“I think sometimes people on Twitter or Facebook forget that there’s a real live person on the other side,” she tells us.

Brewer also delivers a Tony-caliber dramatic reading of one of her tweets.
