MSNBC’s Touré Borrows From Frank Underwood

Toure House of CardsIn a monologue about Netflix’s “House of Cards” Friday afternoon, MSNBC’s Touré borrowed a page from Kevin Spacey‘s star character Frank Underwood.

Shifting from looking straight into the camera, Touré turned his head for a tight camera shot, mimicking Underwood’s trademark asides during each episode.

“Speaking of conscience, I’ll try not to spoil anything,” Touré said in his own aside. “If you haven’t finished season two by now, you deserve no more mercy from me than you’d get from Frank if you were in his way.”

He also said it was fun seeing all his colleagues at MSNBC doing celebrity cameos as themselves during season two— and that  “The Cycle” is more than available for season three.
