David Gregory‘s first week moderating Meet the Press last week finished #1 in Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. CBS’ Face the Nation was second in both categories. Following huge numbers for the previous week’s MTP, an interview with President-elect Barack Obama, the other three Sunday public affairs shows grew week-to-week in Total Viewers last week.

In the A25-54 demo, NBC was first with a 1.4 rating, followed by CBS with a 1.0, ABC with .9 and FOX with a .4. In the important Washington, D.C. market, NBC finished on top, followed by CBS, FOX and ABC.

NBC’s Meet the Press averaged 4,748,000 Total Viewers, followed by CBS’ Face the Nation with 3,472,000, ABC’s This Week with 3,215,000 and FOX News Sunday with 1,459,000.
