NAB/RTNDA: Brace Yourself For '3D-HDTV'
TVNewser NAB blogger Simon Marks, the president and chief correspondent of Feature Story News, e-mails from his Las Vegas shuttle bus:
"If we didn't all have enough on our plates trying to figure out if-and-when to convert our newsrooms to HDTV....NAB has a stark warning for us all.
A visual display screen on my shuttle bus this morning warns that SuperHigh Definition TV is right around the corner. And that's not all. There' also '3D-HDTV.' The quality will -- inevitably -- be 'unparalleled.' 'Like nothing you've ever seen before.'
So....stand by to replace all that HDTV kit you just bought, and order up a new set design."
