NBA TV To Air Miami Heat Exhibition Opener

Your first shot of checking out the revamped Miami Heat will come on Oct. 5.

The Heat will host the Detroit Pistons next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on NBATV. Turner Sports are sending down the big boys to call the game with the trio of Marv Albert, Kevin McHale and Chris Webber. Cheryl Miller will work the sidelines.

Starting on Oct. 3, basketball junkies needing a fix to hold them over until the start of the regular season can tune in to NBATV for daily exhibition games including the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, and Oklahoma City Thunder.

And in case you miss the Heat game next week, you have two more chances (Oct. 8 vs. Oklahoma City & Oct. 13 vs. New Orleans) to see them on NBATV before the start of the regular season on Oct. 26.
