Ford Funeral: NBC's Coverage Plans
It sounds like NBC will not carry the California services for Gerald Ford on Friday. (They're private, so pictures may be limited to arrivals and departures.)
Brian Williams will anchor all of NBC's coverage, which begins on Saturday with the ceremonies at the Capitol from 6:30 to 8pm.
On Tuesday, Williams will anchor from D.C. beginning at 10am. Tim Russert will be in studio. Campbell Brown and Tom Brokaw will be at the National Cathedral.
Also Tuesday, "Today will be a split edition with Matt Lauer anchoring live from Washington, D.C. and Meredith Vieira from New York."
