Networks Cover Hudson Plane Landing, Day Two

The network morning shows spent significant time this morning covering the Hudson River plane crash yesterday. Harry Smith anchored from the wreckage this morning on CBS’ The Early Show, while the Today‘s Ann Curry, filling in for Meredith Vieira, anchored from the location for the first hour as well. Sam Champion spent the morning at the wreckage site as well for ABC’s Good Morning America (Update: And Chris Cuomo). Curry will continue on the beat, as she anchors a special Dateline, “Miracle on the Hudson,” tonight at 10pmET/PT. The broadcast takes a minute-by-minute look at the landing and includes interviews with some of the survivors.
