Appearing on “The Situation Room” with Wolf Blitzer last night, Crossfire co-host Newt Gingrich criticized Blitzer for “selective media outrage” over rock star Ted Nugent calling President Obama a “subhuman mongrel.”
“I’ve always loved selective media outrage,” Gingrich said, acknowledging that what Nugent said was wrong but citing a double standard in the face of “stupid things” Democrats like Vice President’s Al Gore and Joe Biden have said in the past.
“Democrats are stupid too,” Blitzer shot back, saying if any Democrat viciously attacked a Republican, he’d call them out.
