“Nightline” Grows Viewers for 18th Straight Week
“Nightline” continues to defy the odds and has solidified second place in late night. For the week of May 4, the ABC News show grew for the 18th straight week among Total Viewers compared to the same week last year. “Nightline” was up 9% versus the same week last year. NBC’s “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” declined 3% and CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman” was down 2%.
“Nightline” is now solidly in second place season-to-date in Total Viewers averaging 3.89 million.
