Obama Rally at CNN’s Headquarters?

CNNLogo_5.22.jpgThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Political Insider blog writes that Barack Obama supporters are planning a nomination celebration at CNN’s Atlanta headquarters.

On the night of June 3, the supporters plan to fill, “the CNN Center lobby to celebrate the final Democratic primaries in Montana and South Dakota.” The blog reports, “there is no indication at all that the candidate himself will be here.”

TVNewser has calls in to CNN for comment.

> Update: TVNewser received this statement from Shirley Powell, SVP of corporate communications for TBS: “CNN was unaware of these plans being made and would not host a celebration for a specific political candidate at its private property. CNN has notified Turner properties management. This is a food court and Turner does not permit campaign rallies or political organizing in that space out of respect to our patrons and the various businesses there.”

So…does that mean the Obama rally will be canceled?
