On ‘GMA,’ South Korea has ‘Soul’

According to ABC’s “Good Morning America,” at 7:03 AM this morning, the capital of South Korea has some “Soul”:

The capital of South Korea is of course spelled “Seoul” in the traditional Latin alphabet.

When there is a graphics error on TV news, it usually falls into one of two categories: politics or cartography. Some other recent examples:

Earlier this month Fox News made an unfortunate error in a story about the GOP candidates.

In August CNN had a graphic showing Tripoli, Lebanon instead of Tripoli, Libya.

In June Fox News used a picture of Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin in a story about Palin.

If you spotĀ  a mistake on a newscast, drop us a line in out tipbox or let us know on Twitter.
