Opening Question Showdown In Ohio

Good thing moderator Brian Williams announced at the beginning of tonight’s Democratic debate that, “there really aren’t any” rules. The final scheduled debate kicked off to a health care battle on MSNBC, in response to Williams’ first question. The back-and-forth lasted more than 15 minutes, and several attempts to change the subject were unsuccessful. Upon finally closing the table to response, Williams said, “Well, a 16-minute discussion on health care is certainly a start.”

> Update: Sen. Hillary Clinton references the SNL sketch from last weekend while asking why she always seems to be asked to answer the question first. “If anybody saw Saturday Night Live, maybe we should ask Barack if he’s comfortable and needs another pillow,” she said.
