O’Reilly: “The Hate Bush Press is Using You”

Bill O’Reilly‘s 30-minute interview with Scott McClellan aired tonight, and tomorrow will likely bring the post-interview discussion.

One of the themes of the interview was O’Reilly’s point that the “hate Bush venues” and “pure Bush haters” were using McClellan. O’Reilly didn’t mention anyone by name — but he did bring up, “these people at NBC and some at CNN,” one time.

Also, apparently O’Reilly tuned in to some of the interviews: “I watched you last week promoting the book with some of the most notorious bush haters in the country and you were on their programs.”

McClellan answered O’Reilly’s question of, “what was going through your mind,” in going on these shows. “First of all I think some of those were the first to come to the table,” he said. “I’m glad to do all the shows.”
