Oscars: Vargas & Hammer Were Busy, Hosting Specials On CNN And HLN

CNN/U.S. had two hours of Academy Awards coverage on Sunday. The night started at 7pm with Hollywood’s Gold Rush, hosted by Sibila Vargas and A.J. Hammer. They were back at midnight with Hollywood’s After-Party. (They were joined by Brooke Anderson for that one.)

“It’s been a night of surprises and excitement at the 79th annual Academy Awards,” Hammer said at 12am.

The three also hosted special live editions of Showbiz Tonight at 6 and 11pm on HLN. And CNN Pipeline had lots of red carpet coverage…
