‘Paula Zahn Now’ Getting “Stronger”

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution includes a couple interesting quotes about Paula Zahn‘s program on CNN:

Victor Neufeld, whom Klein hired from a post as executive producer of CBS’ “The Early Show,” is among the new faces at CNN. “This is a real time of great stimulation here. Things are changing,” said Neufeld, executive producer of “Paula Zahn Now.”

Zahn’s program “has been seen as a target for replacement,” Scott Leith writes. But:

…She was heartened about her future at CNN when Klein hired producer Neufeld to buttress the program. “To me, it was the most powerful sign I could get that they were making a serious commitment to the show,” Zahn said. Klein believes Zahn’s show has made headway, with the help of Neufeld. “Paula and Victor have really begun to click,” [Jon] Klein said. “He’s making Paula’s show stronger than it’s been.”
