Clinton Wins: Coverage NotesSen. Hillary Clinton is the projected winner of the Nevada Caucus, and the networks called the victory at almost the exact same time. MSNBC named Clinton the winner at 4:06pmET, while CNN and Fox News were right behind at 4:07pmET. Also, ABC broke into regular programming around 4:17pmET with a report on the Clinton victory, while NBC News ran a news special at 4:23pmET. And disagreeing with the "CNN=too cautious" comment by an anonymous emailer from the previous post, this from another tipster: "So lemme get this straight: Networks get ripped for calling a race too soon, then get questioned for 'being too cautious' when they wait?" Update: From an anonymous emailer: "CBS News projected Clinton's win before anyone — e-mail alert hit my in-box at 3:59" Email This Post |
