The e-mailer adds: "Amy was also EP of the short lived syndicated show Home Delivery; Prior to Maury, Amy was at Sally Jessy Raphael. Interesting twist for Today, turning to daytime trash TV for someone to spice up the hour." It sounds like a move made by Jeff Zucker, since that's who brought her to Today as a "consultant" six months ago.
