Obama Says in Retrospect he Shouldn't Have Put Kids on TV — And Wouldn't Do it Again

obamas_7-9.JPGSometimes media outlets play fast and loose with the term "exclusive," especially the entertainment news shows. But Maria Menounos' interview last week with Sen. Barack Obama's family, including his two daughters, appears to be just that.

Sen. Obama confirmed on all three network morning shows today that the Access Hollywood sit-down would be his family's one and only.

In interviews with Diane Sawyer on ABC, Russ Mitchell on CBS and Matt Lauer on NBC he echoed the same sentiment: "We wouldn't do it again."

Obama said he got caught up in the "unique situation" of his daughter Malia's birthday.

But don't fret, America — Access Hollywood cranked out four parts from the interview, with the first airing last night, and continuing throughout the week.
