On Sunday Mitt Romney and Ann Romney will speak to Fox News anchor Chris Wallace in their first TV interview since the losing the Presidential election in November. FNC has released a handful of excerpts in advance of the interview.
On life after the campaign trail: “Well, it’s different. But it’s like, you know, riding on a roller coaster. We were on a roller coaster, exciting and thrilling, ups and downs. But the ride ends. And then you get off. And it’s not like, oh, can’t we be on a roller coaster the rest of our life? It’s like, no, the ride’s over.”
On everyone’s favorite topic, sequestration: “Well, no one can think that that’s been a success for the president. He didn’t think the sequester would happen. It is happening, but to date, what we’ve seen is the president out campaigning to the American people, doing rallies around the country, flying around the country and berating Republicans and blaming and pointing.”
