Questions: About Cuomo, Jennings, Ingraham, Robach, & More...

Have answers... or more questions? E-mail tvnewser@mediabistro.com or drop it in the tip box...

> Could this tip possibly be true?: "The Cuomo family political operation, led by brother Andrew Cuomo's former campaign director, has flooded political supporters with e-mails urging them to call/write to ABC viewer services and praise Chris Cuomo. The campaign is intended to get Chris the GMA anchor job. It may work... but using a family political operation to win the job of network anchor is definitely something new." Does anyone have proof?...

> An e-mailer asks: "As we approach the one-year mark of the end of Peter Jennings' incredible career, I'm just curious: Is anyone writing a biography about this man and his life as a journalist? What a read it would be. And maybe a portion of the sales could go towards a lung cancer research foundation? Or one of the many other organizations Jennings supported..."

> Following up on this and this: Is there any chance that Laura Ingraham could get a weekend time slot on Fox News Channel?...

> Update: 6:18pm: Amy Robach isn't moving to the weekends. MSNBC says she returned from maternity leave this week, and is on her normal morning schedule...

> "Look into what is happening with top EP job at NBC Nightly News," a tipster says ominously. You don't think we'll see a repeat of last year's Touchet move, do you? Update: 6:17pm: "Oh yeah, Reiss is a goner -- It's well known inside NBC," one insider says. But a second tipster asserts: "Wow, a whispering campaign has begun on Reiss? Be careful with that, it could be just some muddying of the waters." Update: 6:21pm: "There is nothing to this and nothing to look into," an NBC spokesperson says. "Sounds like a tip from a competitor who is envious of 'Nightly's' great success."

> An e-mailer asks the new GMA EP's: "When will you replace Tony Perkins, and will it be with a real meteorologist? Mike Barz, who has been filing in, is a former sportscaster. Weather has a real news story lately. When will GMA treat it that way?"

> This may be old news by now, but a tipster asks: "What VERY new NBC News Correspondent was in NY two weeks ago, in a hotel conference room with her agent -- meeting with three representatives of a rival network... hoping to shore up its presence of women?"
