Most of CNN's ratings press release focuses on the rising ratings of CNN Headline News. HLN "continues to be the only cable news network to post significant audience growth versus a year ago," the headline says.

Between Q2 2004 and Q2 2005, HLN increased its total viewership by 19% in total day Monday through Sunday (and increased its 25-54 demo viewers by 24%).

In primetime, HLN increased 82%, from 208,000 viewers to 378,000. (That's seven days a week; if you look solely at weekday stats, HLN was up 91% in P2+ and 76% in the demo.)

Nancy Grace is up 183% in P2+ and 151% in the 25-54 demo versus Q2 2004. Prime News Tonight at 9pm is up 36% and 24% respectively. The 7pm broadcast of Showbiz Tonight hasn't performed well, but the 11pm rebroadcast is up 54% in total viewers and 61% in the 25-54 demo.
