June #'s: Wedding Bells, Twins On The Way And Ratings Gains For Grace

Percentage-wise, Headline News was up the most in June in primetime, and was up almost as much as MSNBC for the whole second quarter.

Fueled by high-profile crimes and missing persons cases, Nancy Grace topped both Keith Olbermann and Paula Zahn in total viewers and the demo in June. With 228,000 demo viewers at 8pm, Grace was up 58 percent from last June. She was 8,000 demo viewers ahead of Olbermann, and 49,000 ahead of Zahn.

At 10pm, Grace's gains were even better: she averaged a 214,000 in the demo, up 62 percent from last June, beating MSNBC for the hour.

For the quarter, though, Grace didn't do quite so well, averaging 191,000 in the demo at 8 and 186,000 at 10...
