September Ratings: 1,770,000 For FNC, 1,280,000 For CNN, 505,000 For MSNBC
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution wraps up September's Katrina and Rita-influenced numbers:
"Fox was the leader in overall viewers during the busy month as an average of 1.77 million people a day watched the network in September, up 52 percent from the same period in 2004. CNN was No. 2, at 1.28 million viewers per day, but the Atlanta-based network had the biggest jump in viewership, an increase of 120 percent...MSNBC's audience grew 70 percent to an average of 505,000 people a day in September."
