Red Eye host Greg Gutfeld apologized last night to Canada for a segment last week poking fun at the Canadian military. Since the Fox News show aired, the story has taken off in the Canadian press and the government has called for an apology.

On last night’s Red Eye, Gutfeld addressed the controversy. “We’re one of the most vocal supporters of the brave work done by those who defend their countries, particularly those fighting side-by-side with American troops on the frontlines in the war on terror,” he said.
