Bob Raissman of the New York Daily News is reporting that sportscasting icon Marv Albert is in discussions with CBS to fill the role vacated by Gus Johnson and become a network voice for college hoops and the NFL. Johnson recently joined Fox after 16 years at CBS.
Albert would retain his duties as a play-by-play hoops announcer for TNT, Raissman reports.
