Reporter Who Posted Doctored YouTube Video Fired
In the continuing saga of “bright blue scrotum”-gate, the person who was responsible for posting the doctored video to YouTube has been fired. The news was first reported by FTVLive.
John Sanders, who was interviewed about the clip Friday by Breitbart.tv’s B-Cast, was a correspondent for WBAL-TV in Baltimore.
WBAL-TV released this statement today: “WBAL-TV management has learned that a former WBAL-TV employee posted a video regarding Fox News’ John Gibson and Attorney General Eric Holder on his personal YouTube page without the prior knowledge or consent of anyone at WBAL-TV or Hearst-Argyle Television. This video was not approved by, used, or sanctioned in any way by WBAL-TV or Hearst-Argyle Television and we do not condone such behavior. Further, this video does not represent the views of WBAL-TV or Hearst-Argyle Television.”
On yesterday’s radio show, Gibson brought up the video flap again. Click continued to hear the clip (via Johnny Dollar)…
