Robin Meade First with Interview of Three Freed American Hostages
Headline News anchor Robin Meade has scored the first interview with the three Americans held captive in a Colombian jungle for five years.
Keith Stansell, Thomas Howes and Marc Gonsalves, were all freed during a daring rescue operation last Wednesday.
We’re told Meade is in San Antonio conducting the interview today, with portions to air tonight on Headline News and on CNN and on her HLN program, Morning Express tomorrow morning.
The Colombian military rescued the three men and 12 Colombian captives from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. Another former hostage, one-time Colombian presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt, did interviews yesterday with NBC’s Ann Curry and with CNN’s Larry King.![]()
