Rock The Vote: Lester Holt vs. Shepard Smith

There’s been a contest going on over at Inside Cable News for nearly four months, narrowing 64 TV news anchors down to a single winner, as voted on by commenters. And now we’ve reached the finals of Anchor Wars 2009 — NBC’s Lester Holt up against FNC’s Shepard Smith.

But, this isn’t the first time Holt has competed against Smith. The Weekend Today and Weekend Nightly News anchor previously anchored programs at 7pmET on MSNBC opposite Shep’s FOX Report.

Voting ends tonight.

And win or lose, only one of these newsmen had a cameo in “The Fugitive”…
